Are you ready to pick up a pen and drop the mic? 

Get ready to Rap & Tap with Juliane Godfrey in a 2-day Poetry + Percussion workshop!

Rap & Tap is a creative curriculum designed to guide students through the process of creating original choreopoems i.e. works that combine spoken word, dance, music, and song. 

By engaging in creative writing prompts, improvisational movement, and percussion, you'll leave this workshop with the tools to tell your own story out loud and in motion, embracing the combination of your unique voice with the power of your body to feel fully self-expressed. Plus, you'll learn about the history of where rap, poetry, and tap-dance come from, the science of why dance is so good for our brains, and the musical math of how to put it altogether!

It's time to get down and speak up (and have some fun doing it!).
